Saucers for an upcoming work.

Alongside my vessels I am constantly painting to inspire surface treatments.  The layering effect is a reflection of my interest in street art.

Jars are the focus

I am working on moving up in scale to allow for more surface area.

Finials

I am throwing finials right off of my lids to create a fluidity in the form.

Getting ready for my final critique.  Here is a preview!

Plates where thrown on the potter’s wheel and had a notch trimmed into the foot(bottom) of plate.  I made plate of various different size and hanging them to paint.  This allows me to get a similar feel to when I paint on a wall or canvas.

Newest platter pictures and I am also working on some bowls for “Bread”

This semester I started working on plates and platters to coincide with my style of drawing. I am going to update my progress here to show you my process and the path this work takes me in. I am considering the custom decals I am ordering in the making process so that I can frame the images with some mishima in the greenware stage.  Here are some examples of bisque work with greenware design.
